Clockwork Education have been approached by a lovely, welcoming school in Bishop Auckland to assist them in finding a School Caretaker ASAP. The school ideally would like to meet and train someone up before the start of the school holidays – when the role will officially begin.
The ideal candidate will be willing to work split shifts to open the premises on a morning and then return on an evening to lock up.
Responsibilities:- Responsible key holder – opening and closing premises, monitoring the property
- Carrying out minor repairs and maintaining premises to ensure safety
- Managing outdoor areas and general upkeep of grounds
- To use own initiative and take the lead
- Experience in building maintenance / cleaning / plumbing / gardening
- Confident in working alone
- Provide 2 employment or educational references
- To hold or put in process an enhanced DBS disclosure
