Clockwork Education have been approached by a lovely, welcoming school in Nursery School in Newton Aycliffe to assist them to find an Early Years Teaching Assistant to support them with an immediate start. The role will be starting January 2026 and will involve you working 8.30am-3.30pm, 5 days a week. The lovely school require an Early Years Teaching Assistant to work across Nursery, Reception and Key Stage 1 when required.
Early Years Teaching Assistant Responsibilities
- Working within the Early Years setting of the school to work with small groups of children and may require some one-to-one work
- Recording evidence of key children meeting targets
- Using own initiative to take the lead and to change activity plans if needed
Early Years Teaching Assistant Requirements
- A relevant Level 3 qualification
- Ability to provide 2 x educational based references
- Confident and experienced in working with small groups of children
- Excellent numeracy and literacy knowledge
- Good behaviour management
