About the client and role
Our client is a Tierâ1 player across the BESS field operating at the forefront of the global energy transition. With a strong international footprint and a customer base that includes some of the world's largest developers and investors, the organization is redefining standards in efficiency, innovation, and longâterm value creation. This role will play a crucial part in the development of existing projects along with the responsibility to develop new customer relationships globally for utilityâscale projects.
Responsibilities
- Grow the sales pipeline and expand customer shareâofâwallet in collaboration with regional sales teams.
- Define and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share within the energy storage sector.
- Identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities with key stakeholders across utilities, developers, and funds.
- Build and maintain longâterm relationships with key global clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Act as the primary customer interface for seniorâlevel engagement, ensuring alignment and satisfaction.
- Partner with crossâfunctional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer and market requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong mix of Business Development and Key Account Management experience.
- Background in Energy Storage Systems is important. Solar background may be considered.
- Established network within the battery energy storage ecosystem with EPCs, IPPs, Developers & funds.
- Minimum 10 years' relevant industry experience.
- Proven ability to close deals and operate commercially at a senior level.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to operate across technical and commercial interfaces.
