The Role
Reporting to our Sales Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying prospects to introduce where clixifix® can be valuable to their challenges, by phone, email and social channels. Organisation is the key to success, keeping our internal CRM up to date with all your activity is a must, so experience in using a CRM like Hubspot for example would be beneficial (not essential).
It’s really important that you are comfortable with the phone, it’s a business critical tool and we’ll help make it even more valuable. But you’ll never be making 100 dials a day, that’s not our style – we prefer a highly personalised, considered and researched approach, quality not quantity. We’re modern in our approach too: personalised video outreach and creative campaigns are a big part of how we stand out. We’re open to new ideas you can bring to the table.
The SDR role will provide a perfect launch pad to fast progression within the business, whether to team lead or into our BDM team.
What we’re looking for
- 2+ years in an SDR or similar sales role
- A strong work ethic and self‑motivation
- Coachability and openness to feedback
- Confidence managing a high‑activity pipeline
- Confidence on the phone and in video‑based outreach
- A team‑first mentality
- Genuine ambition to build a long‑term career in sales
- Construction industry experience is beneficial but not essential, we can coach sector knowledge
- A creative mindset is a real bonus, especially when it comes to campaign ideas and standing out in outreach
- HubSpot/Salesloft experience is desirable but not required
