ROLE PROFILE – CORPORATE FINANCE EXECUTIVE

What you’ll be doing:
- Support the delivery of a broad range of corporate finance assignments, including mergers and acquisitions, valuations, fundraising and financial due diligence.
- Work closely with partners to support M&A transactions from initial planning through to completion, liaising with clients, lawyers, funders and other professional advisers.
- Prepare valuations for a range of purposes, including standalone engagements and to inform strategic transaction decisions.
- Build and develop financial projection models, working with clients to identify, challenge and refine underlying assumptions.
- Draft high‑quality Pathfinders, Information Memoranda and other transaction documents as part of a business sale or fundraising process.
- Undertake research and analysis on potential acquirers or targets, collaborating with internal and external contacts across the UK and overseas, and present findings clearly.
- Support fundraising assignments by identifying appropriate funding sources, liaising with funders and managing information requests.
- Assist with financial due diligence assignments alongside the wider Clive Owen team.
- Contribute to pitches through research, analysis and supporting materials.
- Share ideas to improve systems, processes and ways of working and build a professional network as an ambassador for the firm.
What we’re looking for:
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Proven experience delivering high‑quality client service
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and manage assignments through to completion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with a proactive and flexible approach
- Strong IT skills and comfort working with financial models
- Ability to travel to client sites when required
Additional experience:
- Experience preparing or reviewing financial projection models
- Experience preparing or reviewing valuation models
- Background in general practice, audit, accounts or tax
