Field Sales Representative
Crawley, full time, salary – competitive depending on experience
The Role
We have a great opportunity for someone to join our successful team at CBL Crawley, promoting our plant hire business to customers in a field based role.
This is a busy and varied position requiring excellent organisational skills, strong communication, and the ability to liaise confidently with customers and CBL\'s team.
CBL (Clive Barford Ltd) supply Takeuchi mini excavators, Thwaites dumpers, Bomag compaction equipment, etc to a wide range of housing, civil engineering and utilities customers.
Training would be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell CBL\'s hire business to new customers through on site visits, while also providing excellent customer service to existing clients.
- Liaise with the CBL team in the depot and help cover the hire desk from time to time.
About You
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- Experience within the construction industry, ideally in plant or tool hire.
- Strong communication skills and confidence when dealing with customers and internal staff.
- Excellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- A proactive, commercially aware approach and the ability to manage your workload independently.
- A keen eye for identifying new sales opportunities.
- The ability to work effectively on your own initiative as well as part of a wider team.
You will be self-motivated, professional and committed to delivering exceptional service.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
