Clipstone is a modern neighbourhood restaurant in the heart of Fitzrovia. In our small, bright space we take a creative approach to ingredient led bistro dishes and our exemplary wine list. We are proud of our reputation as a great employer and want to work with our team members to build fulfilling and rewarding hospitality careers.
The Role
As part of the floor team, you play a key role in creating the experience our guests come back for. Great service at Clipstone is attentive but never intrusive, knowledgeable but never pretentious, and always generous! From set‑up to service and throughout the evening, you will help deliver warm, attentive and thoughtful hospitality. We are looking for people who take pride in their work, care about details, and enjoy being part of a team striving for excellence every day. You will work closely with the kitchen and your fellow floor team members to ensure service flows smoothly and that every guest feels genuinely welcomed and looked after.

- Communicate clearly and respectfully with colleagues and guests
- Be curious and eager to learn about food, wine and service
- Stay calm and professional under pressure
- Have some experience in hospitality (though this isn’t essential if you have the right attitude)
Above all else, we are looking for people who care about their craft, enjoy learning, and take pride in doing things well.
Benefits & Development
In addition to a competitive salary, we offer:
- Bupa health insurance
- 50% staff discount across the group for up to 6 people
- Welcome lunch
- Enhanced maternity and paternity leave
- Access to individual mental health support
- Paid company sick days and community days
- £1,000 employee referral bonus
- An additional day of holiday for each year of employment (up to 3 extra days)
We also invest heavily in training and development, and are committed to helping our team members grow their skills and progress within the group - many of our managers and chefs started with us as junior team members.
