You must be able to build good, professional relationships withparents. Above all, you will enjoy working creatively with children and gettingthe very best from them. You will be able to deliver high quality teaching,through systematic, planned sequences of lessons to the children in your class,which culminates in rapid, accelerated progress so that all children can securethe outcomes of which they are capable.
Essential
- Qualified Teacher Status (including GCSE Grade C (orequivalent) in English, Maths and Science).
- Quality of Teaching that is consistently at least good.
- Familiar with current educational developments, particularly in relation to curriculum development
- Solid understanding and curriculum knowledge in KS2across all subjects.
- Teaching experience in KS1 and/or KS2
- Ability to work with and direct the work of Teaching Assistants.
- Ability to assess pupils’ work robustly andaccurately.
- Understanding of the importance of school Safeguardingand Child Protection processes.
