The Warehouse, Logistics, Shipping & Demand Planner plays a pivotal role in orchestrating the company\’s supply chain operations by blending analytical expertise with cross-functional collaboration. This position leverages data from marketing, sales, finance, and retail partners to accurately forecast product demand and align inventory flow with business objectives. It also ensures seamless outbound shipping coordination to meet customer expectations efficiently and cost-effectively.
Demand Planning:
• Own and manage all forecasting activities related to assigned customers and product lines.
•Questioning the Sales forecast viability of the company provided by third party.
•Develop and refine statistical demand models using historical trends and syndicated data (e.g., IRI).
•Integrate business intelligence and input from sales, marketing, finance, and retailer replenishment analysts.
•Facilitate monthly forecasting reviews with cross-functional partners to ensure forecast alignment.
•Monitor forecast accuracy and drive continuous improvement in planning processes.
Shipping & Logistics Coordination:
•Oversee outbound shipment schedules and carrier relationships to ensure timely delivery.
•Align shipping activities with demand plans to minimize delays, reduce costs, and maintain service levels.
•Ensure compliance with global shipping documentation and regulatory requirements.
•Collaborate with warehouse operations and freight providers to resolve issues and optimize transport performance.
Inventory & Supply Alignment:
•Translate demand plans into actionable inventory strategies, supporting new launches and product phase-outs.
•Anticipate and mitigate stock imbalances, including slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
•Analyze replenishment and shipping data to support procurement and logistics decisions.
- 1st contact with the Warehouse and supervising the KPIs together with the Finance Manager.
Background: Bachelor\’s in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field
Systems Expertise : Skilled in Excel, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and forecasting tools
Logistics Acumen : Understanding of global shipping practices and carrier coordination
Strategic Mindset: Ability to balance operational detail with broader supply chain goals
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in demand planning, logistics, or supply chain roles
