Role Overview
As our Social Media Producer (m/f/d), you will play a pivotal role within the FEI's social media channels, working in collaboration with the FEI Media House's digital, production, and editorial teams. Working within a team of professionals, you will ensure that our content reflects the sporting, business, and corporate objectives across day‐to‐day and event‐specific posts. This role combines remote work with on‐site live event coverage, providing you with a dynamic, fast‐paced environment to apply your creativity and expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Planning and Scheduling: Develop and manage a comprehensive content plan, ensuring alignment with FEI brand guidelines and scheduling or publishing content across all channels.
- Content Creation: Generate engaging video and static content, utilising multiple sources to create visually appealing posts with text and/or sound.
- Campaign Development: Lead high‐end digital campaigns from conception through publication, ensuring alignment with the brand and campaign goals.
- On‐Site Social Reporting: Serve as an on‐site social reporter, creating live event coverage and digital features to engage our audience.
- Social Copywriting: Craft compelling social media copy that resonates with our global audience.
- Community Management: Engage with athletes, stakeholders, and fans worldwide, fostering a welcoming and positive community environment.
- Data Monitoring and Optimization: Track content performance, using insights to continuously improve engagement and reach.
What Makes You a Fit
- Professional Experience: At least 2 years as a Social Media Producer or similar role, ideally within sports or entertainment, with a proven track record of content creation, campaign management, and community engagement.
- Equestrian Expertise: A genuine passion for and knowledge of equestrian sports is essential.
- Language Proficiency: Native or bilingual English proficiency, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in multilingual or international settings is highly valued.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and mobile content creation (e.g., graphics, reels, GIFs, and stickers).
- SEO Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEO principles and strategies.
- Data Analysis Skills: Experience with performance reporting, data analysis, and audience insights.
- Event and Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel and work in a fast‐paced, high‐energy environment.
- Timezone: Candidates must be based in Europe to align effectively with our team's time zone and support collaborative, real‐time engagement.
