We're seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our Vincent team focused on research and knowledge experiences. Vincent combines a global legal database with cutting-edge AI to help legal professionals surface insights, conduct deep research, and manage complex knowledge at scale. Your work will directly shape how enterprise legal teams engage with AI-powered research tools, making sophisticated legal intelligence accessible and actionable. This role is based in the UK. If you are local to one of our hubs (Manchester, London, or Dublin) you will be expected to be in office minimum two days per week for our Anchor Days.

Clio Operate and Vincent together form a category-defining product suite that is enabling untethered growth for legal clients worldwide. Operate grew revenue by ~100% in 2025, and Vincent is accelerating fast.
What your team does:
- Design plays an integral role at Clio, making up one of the three pillars of our Research and Development organization alongside Product Management and Engineering.
- Product designers directly engage in researching the behaviors and needs of our users.
- They act as user experience champions as we work to transform the way that lawyers and their staff provide services to their clients.

What you'll work on:
- Design intelligent research and knowledge experiences that help legal professionals surface, synthesize, and act on complex legal information.
- Work alongside Product and Engineering to understand how AI and Vincent's global legal database power research capabilities, and translate that into intuitive user experiences.
- Advocate for enterprise legal users by deeply understanding their research workflows and the high-stakes nature of how they engage with legal information.
- Concept, prototype, and deliver solutions that make Vincent's AI-driven legal knowledge feel powerful yet approachable.
- Conduct user research interviews, usability testing, and analysis to understand how legal professionals discover, evaluate, and apply legal information.
- Leverage metrics to drive product design decisions and measure product success.
- Contribute to design critiques and share thoughtful feedback with the broader team.
- Help evolve design patterns and systems that support complex information architecture at scale.
- Demonstrate a keen interest in improving your craft using AI.
- Break down complex legal concepts into smaller, more manageable design problems.

What you may have:
- 6+ years of experience in product design. SaaS or enterprise experience is preferred.
- Experience designing for complex, information-dense environments including knowledge management, research, or discovery products.
- A track record of shipping products that solve research or information workflow challenges and move company metrics.
- Proficiency in user research methodologies and the ability to translate findings into actionable design insights.
- Strong understanding of interaction design, information architecture, usability, and accessibility.
- Experience with modern design tools (Figma, Figma Make) and willingness to adopt new tools as needed.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile product development environment.
- Experience working on complex systems with large datasets, structured content, or AI-generated outputs.
- A keen interest in improving your craft using AI.
Serious bonus points if you:
- Experience designing AI-assisted search, research, recommendation, or summarization products.
- Familiarity with legal research workflows or legal technology platforms.
- Familiarity with legal technology or enterprise SaaS ecosystems.

The expected salary range for this role is £73,100 to £86,100 to £99,100 GBP. There are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency. Our salary bands are designed to reflect the range of skills and experience needed for the position and to allow room for growth at Clio. For experienced individuals, we typically hire at or around the midpoint of the band. The top portion of the salary band is reserved for employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. Those who are new to the role may join below the midpoint and develop their skills over time. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on geographical region, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
