We're seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our Clio Operate team in the UK. Clio Operate is our enterprise-grade practice and matter management platform, built to help law firms plan, manage, and deliver complex legal work with precision and confidence.

As the cornerstone of Clio's Enterprise division, Operate is growing fast, and we're looking for a designer who is ready to help shape the next chapter of how enterprise legal teams get work done. As part of Clio's Enterprise division, this role sits at the heart of our most ambitious growth story. Clio Operate and Vincent together form a category-defining product suite that is enabling untethered growth for legal clients worldwide. Operate grew revenue by ~100% in 2025, and Vincent is accelerating fast.

Design plays an integral role at Clio, making up one of the three pillars of our Research and Development organization alongside Product Management and Engineering. Product designers directly engage in researching the behaviors and needs of our users. They act as user experience champions as we work to transform the way that lawyers and their staff provide services to their clients. We empower Product Designers to shape how lawyers serve their clients. If you are passionate about user-centered design, mission-driven companies, and transforming how lawyers and their staff deliver exceptional client services, join us!

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design end-to-end experiences for enterprise legal workflows including matter management, task tracking, resource planning, and operational reporting.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to understand the complexity of enterprise legal operations and find the right solutions for them.
  • Balance speed, quality, and consistency of design across a fast-growing product.
  • Advocate for enterprise law firm users by deeply understanding how they manage and deliver legal work at scale.
  • Concept, prototype, design, and present solutions that solve both business and user problems and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Conduct user research interviews, usability testing, and analysis to deepen your understanding of how enterprise legal teams operate.
  • Articulate the rationale behind your design decisions, and ask difficult questions and challenge assumptions when needed.
  • Leverage metrics to drive product design and measure product success.
  • Provide thoughtful feedback in team critiques and support the growth of fellow designers.

  • Break down complex operational concepts into smaller, more manageable design problems.
