Clintar Commercial Outdoor Services in London, ON is looking for dedicated and self‑motivated Crew Leaders and Crew Members to join our Snow and Ice team. This team is responsible for sidewalk snow removal looking after commercial, industrial and institutional properties in London, ON and surrounding areas. We are actively seeking new recruits and encourage all entry level candidates to apply. With contracts around the London, ON area, we can ensure that you have a start location close to where you reside. You must seek adventure, prioritise safety and be comfortable leading team members to success.
Job Profile
- Operate a 4x4 truck with crew (Crew Leader)
- Must be available any day of the week (as weather events happen at any time)
- Manual shoveling, ice removal and salting required
- Work independently with little to no supervision
- Keeping clear communication with your supervisor before, during, and after shifts
- Continual monitoring of weather and storms events to prepare for on-call shifts (Snow, freezing rain, hail etc)
- Follow all safety requirements, including proper winter attire and personal protective equipment
- Completion and follow-through of all training requirements provided through Clintar
Mandatory Requirements
- Strong team player
- Availability to work on-call shifts (days/nights/weekends/holidays)
- Intentional and eager to grow to the next level in service and skill expertise
- Endurance and stamina to be outdoors and regularly exposed to varying weather conditions
- Physical demands include snow shoveling, snow blowing and applying ice melting materials
- The ability and willingness to work long hours during peak days
