The role is responsible for identifying target firms, leading client conversations, running product demonstrations, and managing relationships from initial contact through to long-term contract. The successful candidate will own the commercial pipeline end-to-end, work closely with the founding team, and play a central role in how ClinLexis develops its presence across the medico-legal market.
What you'll do

- Lead outbound engagement across email, LinkedIn, industry events, and professional referrals, and convert inbound interest into qualified opportunities.
- Deliver product demonstrations, scoping calls, and pilot proposals tailored to each firm's case profile.
- Negotiate pilot terms and convert successful pilots into committed long-term contracts.
- Maintain the CRM as the single source of truth, with accurate pipeline forecasting and conversion reporting.
- Coordinate onboarding and pilot check-ins to maintain momentum and protect conversion.
- Feed market intelligence, client objections, and feature requests back into product and commercial planning.
- Represent ClinLexis at conferences, chambers events, and in-person meetings, with occasional UK travel.

- Demonstrable B2B sales or business development track record, ideally selling into legal, professional services, healthcare, or regulated industries.
- Confident leading discovery and demonstrations with senior stakeholders, including partners, clerks, and consultant experts.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with a professional and credible tone suited to legal buyers.
- Highly organised, disciplined about CRM hygiene, and comfortable carrying a commercial target.
- Genuine interest in AI, legaltech, and the medico-legal sector.
- Self-directed, capable of operating with autonomy and sound commercial judgement.
- Strong judgement on when to advance an opportunity, when to hold, and when to step back.
Nice to have
- Law degree, paralegal experience, or background in legal services.
- Experience selling into law firms, chambers, or expert witness practices.
- Familiarity with the medico-legal sector, clinical negligence, or personal injury work.
- Existing network among solicitors, clerks, or medico-legal experts.
