About the Practice:
This practice takes pride in delivering exceptional, patient-centred care to a diverse local community. The team includes GPs, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Care Coordinators, Health & Wellbeing Coaches, Social Prescribers, and experienced Nursing staff all working collaboratively to deliver outstanding primary care services.
Clinicians are supported to work efficiently and safely, with minimal admin, access to modern IT systems, and a culture of shared learning.
Essential Requirements:
- Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) qualification with recognised postgraduate certification
- V300 Independent Prescribing qualification (mandatory)
- A minimum of 6 months\’ primary care experience in a GP practice, urgent care, or walk-in centre (mandatory)
- Proven locum experience in a primary care setting
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong skills in triage, diagnosis, treatment, and prescribing
- Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne
- Current Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
Role Details:
- Flexible sessions available up to 5 days per week
- Morning and afternoon shifts available between 8:00 AM 6:00 PM
- Extended hours available for additional sessions, if desired
- Long-term locum contracts offered for interested candidates
