Role Overview

We are inviting applications from dedicated clinicians passionate about urgent care and minor illness within Primary Care. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing same-day care autonomously, managing a broad spectrum of acute presentations through telephone and face-to-face consultations, including home visits where appropriate. This position offers flexibility, with part-time to full-time hours available (minimum 27 hours per week), within a culture that values continuous learning, innovation, and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, clinical care, supporting patients with minor illnesses and injuries and managing urgent care demand.
  • Conduct home visits as clinically indicated to ensure comprehensive patient care across the community.
  • Participate actively within the duty team to facilitate efficient and safe clinical operations throughout the working day.
  • Assess and manage acute exacerbations of long-term conditions in collaboration with multidisciplinary colleagues.
  • Contribute positively to the practice team, fostering a supportive, inclusive, and collaborative environment.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, utilising protected study leave and opportunities to expand clinical skills and scope of practice.
  • Be supported in your development as a Clinician.

Remuneration and Benefits

  • Competitive salary range: £50,000 to £60,000 per annum (pro rata, dependent on experience).
