Based in the UK and employing over 1000 people across the UK, Europe, China and India; Clinisupplies manufactures medical devices specialising in bladder and bowel products. In the UK, Clinisupplies sells products directly to the NHS and delivers products direct to patients via our Nightingale Home Delivery Service. Our products are also supported by a team of bladder and bowel nurses who are there to be a supportive hand when and where healthcare professionals and patients need it.

With three UK acquisitions in the last three years alone, Clinisupplies is a fast paced organisation with ambitious growth targets. Acquisitions and a focus on new product development provides a strong pipeline that enables us to bring innovation to the market.

The Sales Force Excellence Manager role will support the implementation of the commercial strategy and drive continuous performance improvement across the sales team. This is a hybrid role with a requirement to attend our offices in Watford two days per week. Some travel will be required on an ‘as required’ basis.

The role has three main areas of responsibility:

  • Business Performance - Monitoring, reporting, making recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Business Planning – Shape and implement the sales strategy and planning process
  • Sales Force Effectiveness – Equip the sales team to be effective in the field through ongoing support, training and development.

You will work closely with the Commercial Leadership Team to interpret the available data and uncover opportunities and risks for the business. Your primary contacts will be the Commercial Director, Regional Sales Managers and Commercial Management Team. You will also work closely with our Global Capability Centre in India, Marketing, Clinical and Nightingale home delivery service teams. As a strategically important role to the business, you will have regular exposure to the Executive Leadership Team at Clinisupplies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Excellence
  • Business Performance
    • Define KPIs and reporting structures for leading and lagging sales metrics
    • Create dashboards for leadership and field teams to utilise
    • Analyse trends, deliver insights and provide recommendations
    • Analyse market share developments, deliver insights and recommendations
  • Business Planning
    • Ensure territories are always aligned and optimised to the changing NHS landscape
    • Develop and maintain maps of regions and territories
    • Manage the annual target setting process including communications to teams
    • Develop and implement compelling sales incentives programmes
  • Sales Force Effectiveness
    • Support the onboarding of sales team members through CRM and wider system (e.g. Qlik) training
    • Consolidate regional account plans, draw key insights and recommendations
    • Deliver the annual sales handbooks
    • Drive collaboration and best practice sharing across the sales teams
    • Analyse in-field coaching reports and identify focus areas for continuous improvement

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of three years’ sales experience in a healthcare environment (required)
  • Excellent analytical and judgement skills when deciphering large amounts of data (required)
  • Detailed knowledge of the NHS with experience of working with HCPs and patients (required)
  • The ability to motivate others through effective written/oral communication (required)
  • A genuine interest and passion for sales with a focus on achieving high standards and targets (required)
  • Experience of working collaboratively with people at all levels across the organisation (required)
  • Strong IT skills with advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word (required)
  • Previous experience of dispensing appliance contractors (DACs) (desirable)
  • Previous experience in the bladder and bowel therapy area (desirable)
