Based in the UK and employing over 1000 people across the UK, Europe, China and India, Clinisupplies manufactures medical devices specialising in bladder and bowel products. In the UK, Clinisupplies sells products directly to the NHS and also delivers products direct to patients via our Nightingale Home Delivery Service. Our products are also supported by a team of bladder and bowel Nurses who are there to be a supportive hand when and where healthcare professionals and patients need it.
With three UK acquisitions in the last two years alone, Clinisupplies is a fast-paced organisation with ambitious growth targets. Acquisitions and a focus on new product development provide a strong product pipeline that enables us to bring innovative products and services to the market.
Role summary
This role is responsible for the implementation of Value Propositions with senior customers within the NHS in both the acute and community sector. Your customers will include key opinion leaders who manage bladder and bowel conditions and lead local pathways, procurement, service/contracts leads, medicines managers and those who are responsible for budgets and decision making at ICS, PCN and local levels.
This role reports to the Chief Sales Officer and will work closely with the Regional Business Manager and Clinical Managers to shape the Clinisupplies value proposition across product, service and clinical provision. This is a critical role for the continued growth of the organisation which will help shape how we protect and grow our existing business in a changing NHS landscape.
This patch includes: Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Bristol, Wales, Staffordshire, West Midlands, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire, Warwickshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilise sales and market data to produce business plans which identify opportunities and map out plans to support growth for our bladder and bowel products and services across the region.
- Review monthly market data and NHS landscape information to ensure that decision making and execution is agile and proactive.
- Work collaboratively with Regional Business Managers, Account Managers and Clinical Managers to secure new Service Level Agreements and Partnership agreements with organisations of strategic importance.
- Ensure knowledge of the changing NHS landscape remains current and support regional colleagues with updates and training where required.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to manage new and existing Centralised Prescribing Services.
- Develop and effectively implement tailored value propositions for ICB Medicines Managers, Procurement and key stakeholders.
- Deliver budget impact models to ICB Medicines Managers, Procurement and key stakeholders as part of the Clinisupplies value proposition.
- Identify and work with key stakeholders influential in developing policy, guidelines, clinical and health economic advice for clinicians.
- Influence key stakeholders to achieve favourable formulary positions for Clinisupplies bladder and bowel portfolio products.
- Develop local and national KOLs.
Experience Required
- Demonstrable track record of repeatedly meeting and exceeding sales targets in an NHS Commercial Manager/ NHS Partnership Manager role.
- Experience of engaging with and effectively selling to ICB Medicines Managers, PCN Leads and Hospital based Procurement Leads.
- Experience of delivering budget impact models and value propositions.
- High level understanding of the NHS landscape and the ability to support others learning where necessary.
- Strong collaborative, cross-functional working skills at all levels across an organisation.
- Excellent data analytics skills.
- Good IT skills with a strong knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills that embody our culture of agility, collaboration, curiosity, sustainability and wellness.
- Previous experience in the medical device industry is highly desirable.
- Previous experience with Dispensing Appliance Contractors is desirable.
- Previous experience of working with a commercial nursing team is desirable.
- Previous experience of working with centralised prescribing or off script models is desirable.
