Clinisupplies is a leading UK-based manufacturer and supplier of medical appliances specialising in bladder and bowel products for managing acute and chronic conditions. We also offer a portfolio of bandages and garments for the treatment of wounds and chronic skin conditions. Employing over 800 people in the UK, China and India, we supply our products to the NHS and deliver direct to patients’ homes through Nightingale Home Delivery, our dispensing appliance contractor.

About SmartHomeCare (SHC): SmartHomeCare (SHC) GmbH is a leading provider of innovative healthcare solutions, specializing in medical devices designed to improve patient outcomes and quality of life. Role summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Buyer to support the SmartHomeCare business. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all procurement activities, overseeing stock control and inventory management, contract management, and demand planning. You will work closely with the Head of Procurement at Clinisupplies Ltd (UK), Finance & Operations Director at SmartHomeCare, and other key stakeholders. The Buyer will ensure the efficient acquisition of goods and services, maintain appropriate stock levels, and improve cash flow by balancing stock levels effectively. The role will require visits to the headquarters of SmartHomeCare in Munster, Germany.

Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement, preferably within the healthcare or medical device sector.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Strong background in stock control, inventory management, and demand planning.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement strategies, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, cost management, and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage stakeholder expectations in a global context.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of an international team.
  • A Master’s degree or additional procurement certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is a plus.
