We are seeking a hands-on Communications and Marketing Specialist who is immediately available and can hit the ground running. We’re looking for a highly capable individual contributor to join Clinigen on an initial 3-month contract, reporting into the Digital Director and working as part of a dynamic Digital & Marketing team. This is a pivotal communications role, acting as the content engine behind Clinigen’s global communications and marketing strategy. You’ll take full ownership of the tactical execution across internal and external corporate channels, including Intranet, Group Email, Social Media and Newsletters, ensuring brand consistency, high-quality storytelling and meaningful employee engagement worldwide. This is a hybrid role based in Weybridge or Burton (2-3 days per week).

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering end-to-end communications and marketing activity across multiple global channels
  • Writing and producing high-impact content independently, clear, compelling and on-brand
  • Managing day-to-day operations of corporate communication platforms
  • Supporting global campaigns with hands-on delivery and operational excellence
  • Juggling multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously, internal teams, senior leaders, PR agencies & digital partners
  • Bringing structure, precision and strong time management to a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Must be immediately available and ready to make an impact from day one
  • Degree qualified in Communications, Marketing, PR or related field
  • Exceptional writer and editor, able to create polished content independently
  • A confident communicator who thrives with ownership and autonomy
  • Highly organised, detail-focused and confident juggling multiple stakeholders (internal, leadership, PR and digital agencies)
  • Tech-savvy and digitally fluent (AI tools, intranet/internet systems, social media platforms, analytics)
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a global, matrixed environment
  • Pharma, healthcare, or life sciences experience is preferred
