Clinical Selection is working with a specialist rehabilitation technology manufacturer to recruit a Product Specialist covering North London and the East of England (north of the River Thames, including Hertfordshire, Essex, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk). This is a rare opportunity to join a mission-led organisation delivering high-impact, clinically led mobility solutions for children and adults with complex movement disorders.
The Role
This position will appeal to either:
- A clinically trained professional (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Therapy Assistant), or
- An experienced rehabilitation / assistive technology sales or product specialist.
You will take full ownership of your territory, combining hands-on clinical assessments, product demonstrations, and commercial development. The role is field-based with home working and offers a high degree of autonomy. The successful candidate will ideally be based in Hertfordshire, Essex or North London / north of the M25.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical assessments and product trials with individuals with moderate to complex neurological movement disorders.
- Deliver face-to-face demonstrations and clinical education to healthcare professionals, frequently within SEN and community settings.
- Carry out equipment adjustments, growth reviews and ongoing user support.
- Build and maintain relationships across NHS, private, charity and case management sectors.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory.
- Create and execute structured territory sales and activity plans.
- Analyse territory data and performance to guide strategy.
- Attend exhibitions, clinical events and professional meetings.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
- Provide regular activity and performance reporting.
Experience Required
Essential
- Full UK driving licence.
- Either: Minimum 2 years clinical experience within rehabilitation (Physio, OT, Therapy Assistant/Technician), or Minimum 2 years experience in a field-based sales or product specialist role within rehabilitation or assistive technology.
Desirable
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
- Understanding of biomechanics, disability and rehabilitation pathways.
- Experience working with rehabilitation or assistive equipment.
- Evidence of sales or territory growth.
- CRM, KPI and Microsoft Office experience.
- Strong presentation, communication and relationship-building skills.
