A leading medical device company is seeking a Wound Care Business Manager to join their expanding UK team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a dynamic territory across the South Midlands and Home Counties, selling innovative wound care and soft tissue reconstruction technologies in both primary and secondary care settings.
This is a fully autonomous field-based role suited to someone commercially driven, clinically confident, and eager to take ownership of a diverse portfolio across multiple specialties.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive business development by identifying opportunities to integrate advanced wound care technologies into NHS and private treatment pathways.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clinical stakeholders, ensuring optimal support from product trial through to adoption.
- Deliver compelling clinical and commercial presentations to a wide range of healthcare professionals.
- Lead clinical evaluations and support data collection to generate real-world evidence.
- Respond to clinical queries and provide hands-on education and support around product application and usability.
- Collaborate with manufacturer Clinical Specialists to support therapy adoption and outcomes.
- Contribute to KOL development, identifying advocates and supporting their engagement.
- Attend and represent the company at events, conferences, and trade shows, producing follow-up reports and insights.
- Maintain accurate records using CRM systems and report on sales progress and market intelligence.
- Feedback customer insight to internal teams including R&D to support product development.
- Proven sales experience in wound care or theatre-based medical devices.
- Understanding of NHS treatment pathways and reimbursement frameworks.
- Confident communicator with the ability to present effectively to both small and large groups, in-person and virtually.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise, multitask, and meet deadlines independently.
- Proactive mindset, solution-oriented and self-driven.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM systems.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel regularly across the territory.
