We're recruiting on behalf of a growing medical device manufacturer that's continuing to take market share in an established sector. The business has developed a strong reputation for its consumables portfolio and managed service offering, and as a result of continued growth they're looking to appoint a Territory Manager to cover the North East.
The role will focus on both Primary and Secondary Care, managing existing accounts while identifying opportunities to grow business across the territory.
The role
- You'll be responsible for promoting a range of consumable medical devices to NHS customers, working with a variety of stakeholders across both community and acute settings.
- This is a consultative sales role where success comes from building relationships, understanding customer needs and identifying opportunities to introduce both products and service solutions.
- The territory includes an established customer base, but there remains plenty of scope to develop new business, making it an attractive opportunity for someone who enjoys growing a region rather than simply maintaining one.
Key responsibilities
- Develop sales across Primary and Secondary Care within the North East.
- Build relationships with clinicians, procurement teams and other NHS stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to introduce both consumable products and managed service solutions.
- Grow existing business while securing new accounts across the territory.
- Manage your territory effectively, providing ongoing support to customers and ensuring a high level of service.
About you
We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience selling into the NHS and are comfortable working across both account management and new business development. You'll ideally have:
- Field sales experience within healthcare or medical devices.
- Experience selling consumables into the NHS.
- Knowledge of both Primary and Secondary Care.
- Experience working with DACs.
- A track record of developing customer relationships and delivering against sales targets.
- A full UK driving licence.
The opportunity
This is a chance to join a business that's growing quickly and continuing to invest in the UK market. The company has established itself as a genuine challenger brand, giving its sales team a strong platform to have commercial conversations with customers who are increasingly open to alternative suppliers.
The package includes a basic salary of up to £50,000, an uncapped bonus with a £10,000 OTE, plus your choice of a company car or car allowance. With the business continuing to grow, it's an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a company with genuine ambition and plenty of room to make an impact.
