Field-Based Sales Role
Clinical Selection is partnering with an established medical device organisation specialising in ophthalmic surgery solutions. We are currently recruiting for a Hospital Business Manager to take ownership of a key territory across the North West.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional to build strong clinical relationships, increase market share, and support the delivery of patient-focused technology into NHS and private healthcare settings.
The Role
As Hospital Business Manager, you will be responsible for delivering sales performance across a specialist surgical portfolio. You will work closely with surgeons, theatre teams, and procurement stakeholders to provide consultative, value-based solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Achieving regional sales targets, revenue goals and margin objectives
- Developing and executing a territory business plan
- Presenting clinically supported product information to key hospital stakeholders
- Building trusted relationships with clinicians, nurses, and theatre managers
- Educating customers on product usage, benefits, and new technologies
- Managing opportunities and pipeline through CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce)
- Monitoring competitor activity and participating in regular business reviews
- Supporting marketing initiatives, product launches, exhibitions and workshops
- Understanding NHS and private sector purchasing and procurement pathways
- Occasional national travel is expected, with infrequent overseas travel possible.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will be a motivated and structured sales professional with strong experience in hospital-based medical device sales.

- Proven success in territory management within the NHS and/or private sector
- Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills
- Confidence presenting in theatre and clinical environments

- High integrity, adaptability, and a strong work ethic
- Experience in procedure-based or surgical device sales is highly advantageous.
