Their focus is on education, clinical confidence and delivering high-quality support to clinicians using point-of-care, cart based and handheld ultrasound in real-world settings.
The Role
Our client is seeking a Clinical Applications Specialist to support clinicians using diagnostic ultrasound systems across the UK and Ireland. This is a highly clinical, field-based role focused on training, implementation, education and ongoing applications support. The successful candidate will work directly with healthcare professionals to help them integrate ultrasound confidently and effectively into clinical practice, supporting high standards of patient care and clinical adoption. The role will involve close collaboration with technical, commercial and education stakeholders to deliver a strong customer experience throughout the implementation and post-installation journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Training & Implementation
- Deliver high-quality ultrasound training and clinical applications support to healthcare professionals
- Support on-site installation, onboarding and implementation of ultrasound systems
- Carry out on-site demonstrations of ultrasound systems at customer sites
- Assist clinicians with practical ultrasound workflows and optimisation within scope of practice
- Provide guidance on image acquisition, scanning techniques and system functionality
- Provide pre-sales support, product specification guidance and answer clinical/technical questions from customers
- Education & Clinical Support
- Deliver one-to-one and small-group ultrasound training sessions
- Support educational workshops, clinical learning events and user training programmes
- Provide ongoing post-installation support to ensure confident system use
- Support clinicians with image optimisation and effective integration into day-to-day practice
- Clinical Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to maintain consistent standards of training and support
- Contribute to the development of educational materials, user guides and clinical resources
- Provide product and clinical feedback internally to support continuous improvement
- Internal Teamworking
- Work closely with technical support, customer support and commercial teams

- Qualified Sonographer with relevant clinical ultrasound experience
- Strong understanding of ultrasound imaging principles and scanning workflows

- UK driving licence
