Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
Demand for high-quality neurodevelopmental and mental health services continues to grow, with more children and young people seeking assessments and support for ADHD, Autism and other mental health conditions. We’re looking for experienced Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists to join our growing network of clinicians. Whether you prefer to work remotely, from one of our clinics in London, Bristol, or Oxford, or on a hybrid basis, you’ll have the flexibility to work in a way that suits you while helping more patients access the care they need.
The role
You’ll deliver high-quality psychiatric assessments and ongoing care for children and young people, including:
- Conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments
- Diagnosing ADHD, Autism and other mental health conditions
- Developing personalised treatment plans
- Conducting medication reviews and prescribing where appropriate
- Producing high-quality clinical reports
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver the best possible patient outcomes
What you’ll need
- GMC Specialist Registration
- MRCPsych (or equivalent)
- Consultant CAMHS Psychiatrist experience
- Experience assessing and treating ADHD and Autism in children and young people
- Experience using Young DIVA‑5 and ADI‑R
- Excellent communication and clinical report‑writing skills
- Strong understanding of mental health legislation, safeguarding and risk assessment
- Enhanced DBS check
- Legal right to work in the UK
