As demand for specialist ADHD and Autism services continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team.
This role offers flexibility, autonomy and the opportunity to deliver meaningful clinical care within a respected and supportive organisation.
The Opportunity
You will play a key role in delivering specialist neurodevelopmental services for children and young people, including ADHD assessments, autism assessments, diagnosis, medication management (if you have this experience) and ongoing support.
Clinical sessions are delivered face-to-face from our clinic based in, providing flexibility for clinicians based in Oxfordshire, London and surrounding areas.
Flexible working arrangements are available to suit your existing commitments.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive CAMHS ADHD assessments for children and young people, both face-to-face and online.
- Deliver CAMHS ADHD titration and medication management clinics, including initiation, titration, monitoring and review of treatment plans, both face-to-face and online.
- Undertake CAMHS ADI-R assessments as part of specialist autism diagnostic pathways, both face-to-face and online.
- Diagnose ADHD and formulate evidence-based treatment recommendations in line with current clinical guidelines.
- Produce clear, detailed and high-quality clinical reports following assessments and reviews.
- Collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
- Provide expert guidance to GPs, healthcare professionals, families and service users regarding ADHD and ADHD medications.
- Respond professionally to parent and carer enquiries via telephone and email.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in line with professional and organisational standards.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and quality improvement of our ADHD and autism services.
About You
You will be
- GMC registered with a licence to practise.
- Included on the GMC Specialist Register.
- MRCPsych qualified (or equivalent recognised qualification).
- An experienced Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist.
- Highly skilled in the assessment and treatment of ADHD in children and young people(Desirable).
- Experience in conducting ADI-R assessments for Autism, with ADI-R certification to hand (Desirable).
- An excellent communicator with strong report-writing skills.
- Comfortable working autonomously while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Independent healthcare experience.
- Two years of ADHD Prescribing experience (Titration)
- Expertise in autism and wider neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Knowledge of current ADHD assessment and treatment pathways.
