Billing Assistant (12-Month Maternity Cover)
Clinical Partners is one of the UK's leading providers of mental health and neurodevelopmental services, delivering high-quality assessments and treatment services across both NHS and private healthcare pathways.
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Billings Assistant to join our Finance team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, systems and processes, and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work.
This role is heavily focused on administration and data entry, uploading private medical insurance (PMI) invoices to billing portals and ensuring all information is accurate and compliant before submission. This role supports billing processes, invoice administration, query resolution and reconciliations across a busy finance function.
Working closely with the wider Finance team, you will support the accurate and timely processing of invoices, reconciliations and billing activities. You will be responsible for ensuring invoice data is correctly uploaded to insurer portals, maintaining accurate records and resolving billing queries efficiently.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys structured processes, is comfortable working independently and thrives in a role where accuracy and consistency are essential.

- Reconcile billing information and investigate discrepancies.
- Monitor shared mailboxes and respond to billing-related enquiries in a timely manner.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve billing and invoicing issues.
- Support month-end activities and provide cover for other billing functions when required.
- Assist with the preparation and reconciliation of clinician statements and other finance administration tasks.
