Clinical Partners is one of the UK’s leading providers of mental health and neurodevelopmental services, supporting adults and children across both NHS and private pathways. Our products support complex clinical and operational workflows across multiple service lines, and strong foundations are critical to enabling safe, efficient and consistent care delivery.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead our Foundations & Workflows domain, focused on strengthening the core platform capabilities that underpin our services. This role is focused on fixing and strengthening the basics, including workflow and task management, case progression, hand-offs, exception handling, and shared platform capabilities that support multiple services consistently. It is a senior, strategically important role for someone who understands that real product value often sits beneath the surface, within the workflows, states, rules and patterns that enable teams to deliver effectively.

You will identify where fragmented processes, brittle logic, inconsistent patterns or manual workarounds are creating friction, and turn these into a clear product strategy and roadmap for scalable, reusable foundations. Your work will directly enable greater operational efficiency, clearer workflows, improved user experience and faster delivery across the wider product portfolio.

This primarily home-based role requires occasional travel to London for meetings and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Owning the product strategy and roadmap for the Foundations & Workflows domain
  • Improving core platform usability, workflow support, task and case management
  • Building reusable components, shared capabilities and patterns that reduce duplication across service lines
  • Strengthening how the platform supports workflow progression, hand‑offs, exceptions and operational visibility
  • Reducing reliance on manual workarounds, fragmented tools and one‑off solutions
  • Balancing short‑term operational pain points with long‑term platform health and scalability
  • Driving structured discovery into workflow pain points and cross‑cutting platform issues
  • Setting clear outcomes, success metrics and guardrails, and using data to assess impact
  • Working closely with Engineering, Design and Delivery to shape sustainable, consistent solutions
  • Bringing clarity, structure and momentum to complex, cross‑team product problems
RequirementsEssential
  • Significant experience as a Product Manager working on complex platforms, internal tools, workflow systems or operations‑facing products.
  • Strong product judgement, particularly where value is indirect or spread across multiple journeys and teams.
  • Deep understanding of workflow‑driven systems, including hand‑offs, exceptions, state management and tasking.
  • Experience leading discovery into messy, ambiguous or cross‑cutting product problems.
  • Ability to identify common issues and turn them into reusable capabilities, not bespoke fixes.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills across Engineering, Design, Operations and Delivery.
  • Comfortable working where ownership is shared or unclear, and able to bring structure and direction.
  • Confident using data and evidence to prioritise work and assess outcomes.
Desirable
  • Experience with design systems, shared components or pattern libraries.
  • Experience modernising platforms or untangling legacy systems.
  • Experience in healthcare, health‑tech or other regulated, workflow‑heavy environments.
Remuneration & Benefits
  • £80-£95,000 annual salary (DOE)
  • 25 days paid holiday (increasing with service to 28 days) plus bank holidays.
  • A day off for your birthday.
  • Healthcare Cash Plan
  • Benefits Platform
  • Life Assurance
  • Discount Vouchers
  • Flexible working opportunities to suit your personal needs
  • Opportunities to take part in charitable events
  • Access to a Wellbeing portal and Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
