Responsibilities

  • Building and sustaining relationships at all levels with NHS partners and wider stakeholders
  • Working closely with operational teams to ensure contracts are delivered to specification and KPIs are met
  • Understanding the market, including competitors, service gaps and commissioning trends
  • Identifying new opportunities for contracts, joint working and service development
  • Supporting bids and tenders, including contributing to high-quality responses and business cases
  • Contributing to business development plans, marketing strategies and service redesign
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records and producing clear reports for the Senior Management Team and Board
  • Advising on local and national policy relating to NHS planning, Autism, ADHD and wider mental health services

Qualifications and experience

  • You will have experience in the healthcare or public sector, working with or for the NHS, and a strong record of driving business growth or expanding services.
  • Confidence presenting to commissioners and senior stakeholders, plus a solid understanding of ICB, NHS Provider Trust, Local Authority and NHS England commissioning, will be key to your success.
  • This is a strategic, outward facing role where you will identify opportunities, solve challenges and work collaboratively with internal teams to support service development and growth.

  • You will be a credible, relationship-driven professional with:
  • Degree-level education or equivalent relevant experience
  • A strong CPD record
  • Relevant experience in the healthcare sector, with or for the NHS
  • A proven track record of business growth or service expansion in a relevant field
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations to commissioners, providers and stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of ICB, Local Authority and NHS England commissioning
  • Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships
  • Strong planning, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a complex portfolio
  • Confidence in analysing and presenting complex information, both written and verbal
  • Ability to influence and negotiate at a senior level
  • Willingness to travel for regional meetings

Desirable

  • Postgraduate qualification (e.g. MBA, NHS Healthcare Management)
  • Experience in mental health and/or neurodevelopmental services (Autism, ADHD)
  • Understanding of CQC standards
  • Knowledge of health and social inequalities and their impact on mental health
  • Awareness of the changing commissioning landscape across mental health and social care

Clinical Partners is one of the UK's leading mental health and neurodevelopmental providers, working closely with the NHS to deliver high quality, patient centred services. As part of our Business Development Team, we are now looking for a Strategic Partnerships Manager NHS Services to strengthen our relationships with ICBs, NHS Provider Trusts, Local Authorities and NHS England, and to help shape innovative, effective pathways across the health and care system.

Please note that this position requires a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as part of our commitment to safeguarding and ensuring the safety of our clients and staff. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a DBS check before commencing employment.

  • Salary: 75,000 - 80,000 annual salary
