Hours: 20 - 40 per week

About the Role:

As a Passenger Assistant, you will support individuals who need extra help when travelling including children being transported to school, elderly passengers, those with reduced mobility or other access needs. You will ensure they have a safe, comfortable and positive journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist passengers at their pick up locations
  • Help with boarding, alighting and transfers between services
  • Operate mobility aids (ramps, wheelchairs) with care and confidence
  • Provide clear, friendly information and reassurance
  • Coordinate with staff and transport teams for smooth handovers
  • Keep accurate records of assisted journeys and incidents

Job Requirements:

  • DBS on update service (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and disability discrimination laws.
