We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Female Support Worker to assist residents in maintaining their independence while living in a supportive environment. The role involves providing personalised care and support to individuals, ensuring they can manage their daily activities while promoting their well-being and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Support: Assist residents with daily living activities such as dressing, bathing, and grooming, while encouraging independence. Provide mobility assistance, including the use of mobility aids where required.
- Household Assistance: Support with light household tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation. Encourage residents to participate in household routines to maintain independence.
- Health & Well-being: Remind and assist with medication management as per care plans. Promote physical and mental well-being by engaging residents in social and recreational activities.
- Emotional & Social Support: Offer companionship and encourage social interaction among residents. Support residents in attending community activities and appointments.
- Record-Keeping & Communication: Maintain accurate records of care and support provided. Communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive the best care.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience in a care or support role (preferred but not essential).
- A caring and patient nature with excellent communication skills.
