An experienced Project Manager from within a manufacturing environment with the ability to work to tight delivery schedules
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage customer relationships by ensuring that the Customers’ needs and expectations are communicated promptly and clearly to the relevant areas of the business.
- Implement effective project launch while liaising closely with the Sales, Quality and Manufacturing Departments to ensure that all delivery and quality implications have been assessed.
- Produce and maintain clear project plans and schedules that meet the Customers’ needs to present information and progress to the Customer in a professional and clear format.
- Identify any slippage or risk to schedules as soon as possible internally and develop recovery / mitigation plans.
- To maintain a high morale and initiative culture, through adopting a positive approach to team working and effective communication.
- Work closely with key suppliers and the procurement department to ensure supplier delivery schedules are achieved.
- Ensure correct reporting of additional costs incurred to project, are identified to internal management and the Customer where appropriate

- Job Requirements Qualifications
- Degree standard preferred in a business relevant field.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering manufacturing projects in a demanding and technically challenging environment.
- Experience in the Oil and Gas industry would be an advantage
- Engineering background essential with a good all-round knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of Business ERP/MRP software systems.
- Understanding of Quality plans and specifications
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Excel / Word / Project
