Candidates should be familiar with CMM software, such as PC-DMIS. The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for measurement and analysis for all patterns and castings
  • Operate and maintain FARO scanning arm, Hexagon scanning arm, and Hexagon Coordinate Measuring Machine
  • Carry out CMM accuracy verification checks
  • Perform dimensional inspections in accordance with operating procedures and quality standards
  • Carry out manual dimensional inspection using equipment such as micrometers, verniers, and other precision tools
  • Conduct CMM inspection activities and produce accurate measurement reports
  • Ensure all inspected parts meet aerospace quality requirements
  • Attend NCR meetings and support corrective action activities
  • Ensure official routing documentation and procedures are adhered to at all times
  • Ensure the latest approved software versions are available and maintain proficiency in their use
  • Maintain a safe and organised working environment in line with company health and safety procedures
