- Role: Quality Assurance Engineer
- Role Responsibilities
- Support and maintain the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry standards.
- Investigate internal and external quality issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
- Manage non‑conformances, containment, CAPA activities, and verification of effectiveness.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, inspection standards, work instructions, and product release records.
- Support New Product Introduction activities including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and customer‑specific requirements.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality concerns and drive continuous improvement.
- Conduct process, product, and layered audits; support customer and third‑party audits.
- Monitor and report quality KPIs, analyse trends, and support improvement initiatives.
- Manage customer complaints, non‑conforming product, and containment actions.
- Support supplier quality performance, issue resolution, and compliance.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure appropriate controls are in place.
- Maintain calibration and tooling control for inspection and measurement equipment.
- Interpret engineering drawings and CAD models to support inspection and product release.
- Promote a proactive quality culture across the business.
