Climb Recruitment are proudly working with a leading manufacturing company in the Sheffield area Role: Pattern / Mould Maker Description of role * Take receipt of pattern assembly technique from Design Department. * Confirm pattern manufacturing route. SLA pattern, Styrofoam pattern, sand print mould. * Manufacture pattern as per route card issue number / rev number. * If Styrofoam pattern is to be manufactured generate CAM tool paths using Autodesk Powermill. * Transfer tool paths to CNC machines in Pattern shop and manufacture parts. * If SLA pattern is to be manufactured, complete SLA build set up using Lightyear and Magics software. * Post build SLA clean ups. * Manufacture running and gating systems either by hand or CNC machining referenced on route card and/or assembly technique. * Assemble pattern and running and gating system and prepare for the ceramic mould department. * Ensure all patterns have been measured by the CMM department prior to assembly. * Operate 3D sand printing machine. * Clean and prepare for casting 3D sand printed moulds. * Raise NCR's when required. * Ensure housekeeping is maintained to a high standard
