Climb Recruitment are proud to be working with a leading company in the Rotherham area Role: Ceramic Mould Making Operative Experience Required: An eye for detail along with good practical skills. Responsibilities: Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, those below * Operate KEA shelling line i.e. run robotic existing programmes * Ensure all materials meet the required specifications and value * Ensure ceramic material is applied using the correct technique on both manual and automated shelling lines * Remove the ceramic assembly from its metallic manipulation fixture * Pre-heat ceramic moulds in the low temperature oven (non-wax assemblies only) * Operation of Flash Fire Furnaces (Pacific Kiln) * Wash clean ceramic mould in Weir wash system * Assemble ceramic moulds to make available for the casting process for both vacuum and air melting * Report all maintenance issues to your shift supervisor immediately * Slurry testing and recording where required * Ensure housekeeping is maintained to a high standard Working Hours: Your normal working week consists of 37.5 hours. You will be required to work the following alternating shift patterns: – Shift Pattern 1 (Days): – Monday to Thursday: 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. – Friday: 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. – Shift Pattern 2 (Afternoons): (25% shift allowance applicable) – Monday to Thursday: 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. – Friday: 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. – Shift Pattern 3 (Nights): (36% shift allowance applicable) – Sunday to Friday: 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. £28/k + 25% afternoon and 36% nights
