As a Technical SEO Account Manager your role will encompass a full approach to technical SEO strategies for your assigned clients, as well as manage Web Build projects for new and existing clients. Your key tasks will include:

  • Provide clients industry leading technical SEO strategy, consultancy and deliverables in coordination with SEO and business goals
  • Provide SEO analysis and recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of websites and web pages
  • Support clients with new website launches, migration, CMS changes and crossdomain strategies • Work closely with web development teams to build websites with SEO in mind
  • Administer search engine programs (XML sitemaps, webmaster tools) for purposes of diagnostic reporting on client projects
  • Conduct technical SEO audits, site migration recommendations, new site build recommendations, wireframe / UX reviews and ad-hoc tasks based on client needs
  • Have accountability for technical SEO recommendations and prioritisations for clients and developers
  • Regular communication with clients and developers
  • Keep pace with SEO, search engine, social media and internet marketing industry trends and developments

We want you to have:

  • 2 to 4 years experience in a similar technical SEO role preferably agency side
  • An extensive knowledge in Technical SEO
  • Knowledge and experience of all elements of Technical SEO, including: on-page mark up, URL structure & site architecture, redirect strategies, structured mark-up such as microdata, JSON-LD etc., XML Sitemaps, mobile, search engine algorithms and log files
  • A good understanding of common coding languages such as HTML, JavaScript and CSS and experience with working on new web builds alongside developers
  • Experience of working with a range of CMS systems including WordPress, Magento and Shopify
  • Experience in managing site / CMS / domain migrations from premigration, migration and post-migration planning and support
  • A deep understanding of Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools and log analysers to monitor and diagnose issues across the client base
  • Excellent knowledge of using SEO tools such as SEMrush, Screaming Frog (including log file analyser), DeepCrawl, AHREFs and Majestic
  • Excellent level of Google Analytics knowledge
  • Good analytical skills to interpret data and communicate this to clients
