Climax Studios was established over 30 years ago, we have an extensive history in developing all kinds of digital experiences across all formats, and we have won multiple awards along the way. You’ll be based out of our state-of-the-art studio located in the heart of the beautiful Albert Dock in Liverpool overlooking the Harbour.
We are looking for a multi-talented UK based 3D Modeller/ Artist with proven experience in generating realistic textures & props, with solid Maya, Blender & Substance skills. Proven experience in generating a diverse range of styles, technical expertise with current gen technology and/or illustration skills are certainly of benefit.
Requirements- Solid experience creating realistic style props, substance material and texture creation
- Creative and self-motivated
- Strong and versatile modelling skills
- Experience using Maya

- Experience using Blender
- Extremely quality oriented
- Some experience setting up LODs
- Strong verbal, written and visual communication skills
- An artistic education to at least graduate level
- Strong folio including examples of realistic modelling and environment
- Create optimized props, collision and LODs to aid performance
- Create AAA PBR materials and textures using Substance
- Critique and iterate in a group
- Follow and recreate established art styles
- Reliably demonstrate an aptitude for the platform technology, asset discipline and pipeline processes
- Environment landscape creation and set dressing
- Technical prowess with real-time shader creation
- Good environment lighting skills
