We are seeking an experienced Senior Animator, you will create high-quality animation using performance capture data for characters, creatures, and cinematic scenes. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of passionate and experienced developers on a AAA project.
Requirements- Experience working as a Senior Animator on at least one published AAA console title.
- Extensive experience with MotionBuilder and Maya.
- Proven experience with mocap clean up tools.
- Understanding of human anatomy, body/creature mechanics, and all animation principles.
- Proven experience working within Unreal Engine 5.
- Clean, process, and retarget captured data to digital character rigs.
- Collaborate with directors, animators, and tech artists to refine performance quality.
- Integrate animations into the engines.
- Troubleshoot mo cap rigs, and markers etc.
- Ensure animation quality meets artistic and technical standards across all assets.
- Work with the wider art, design and code teams to champion best technical practices.
- As part of reviews, able to provide constructive critique and solutions.
- Ability to self-motivate as well as motivate other members of the team.
