Concept Artist – Weapons (UK-based 6 month Fixed Term Contract) Climax is a leading independent game developer known for top published titles. Our new Edinburgh studio offers an inspiring work environment overlooking the historic castle. We seek an experienced concept artist with extensive weapons design experience and at least two years of studio experience to join our award-winning art team. Responsibilities Create concept art focusing on weapons, worlds, creatures, and characters. Collaborate with design and production teams to develop visual concepts. Work across stylized and photorealistic styles. Utilize Photoshop and other tools to produce high-quality artwork. Requirements Strong understanding of form, function, composition, lighting, and color theory. Excellent illustration skills and traditional drawing foundation. Experience with grey/white box drawing over development. Portfolio demonstrating diverse concept art skills. Self-motivated with a passion for video games and weapons design.
