We are looking for a Senior UI/UX Artist to help MPG deliver the best possible Game User Interfaces to our clients. Are you deeply passionate about seamless design choices, the exact colour choice for a button, or the perfect positioning of it? You will be collaborating closely with our game designers, artists, engineers and production teams to deliver world class work for our clients and continue our drive for improvement in service and quality.
You’re a skilled artist/graphic designer, with a strong understanding of Core Game and Meta Game design as well as the technical challenges of UI development. You have a deep understanding of the roles and workflows of a UI art team, and how an art team integrates with and supports the wider development team. You’re a fantastic Graphic Designer with a strong knowledge of art theory.
Proficiency with typical UI and graphic design tools, alongside a solid general knowledge of art tools and game engines such as Figma, Photoshop, and Unreal Engine.
What would help:
- UI concept art and white box wireframing experience
- Creating professional UI experiences, focusing on the development of excellent UX design, visual layout and concepts
- Organising and reviewing play-tests of user interface prototypes and final in-game UI
- Iterating on playable game flows so that all stakeholders can get a feel for the UI before any expensive implementation is conducted
- Leading by example, setting benchmarks, style guides, high quality standards, workflows, documentation and approvals
