This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven professional with a strong track record in the renewable energy sector to play a key role in driving business growth and supporting the delivery of large-scale solar and energy storage projects across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities- Analyse market trends, regulatory frameworks, and customer requirements
- Develop and expand relationships with new and existing clients and partners
- Assess client and project pipelines to identify opportunities and priorities
- Evaluate project opportunities and support strategic business development activities
- Manage key client relationships across the project lifecycle
- Lead the acquisition process for large-scale renewable energy projects from initial engagement through to contract signature
- Act as the interface between clients and internal project teams to ensure customer requirements are effectively communicated and delivered
- Oversee preparation of commercial and technical proposals
- Define and review project requirements with project managers and clients
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Project Management, and Construction teams
- Review and manage client-supplied project documentation and data packages
The successful candidate will be a confident communicator with strong relationship management skills and a genuine passion for renewable energy and decarbonisation. You will ideally have:
- A commercial and/or technical degree qualification or equivalent experience
- Several years’ experience in sales and Key Account Management
- Experience working with utilities, IPPs, asset managers, or similar stakeholders
- A background within the renewable energy sector, ideally solar PV and/or battery storage
- Experience managing tender and bid processes
- Strong contract negotiation and commercial management skills
- Experience in cost calculation and budgeting
