An opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to support the development and delivery of EV charging infrastructure projects across the US. This is an excellent role for an early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience while working closely with senior leadership on active projects.

The Role

You will support the progression of 2–3 EV charging projects through late-stage development toward ready-to-build status. These are typically smaller-scale deployments, requiring strong coordination and organisational skills rather than deep technical expertise. Working closely with senior leadership, you will coordinate development activities, liaise with external stakeholders, and ensure projects are progressing in line with timelines and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and advancement of EV charging infrastructure projects
  • Track project progress and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate with agencies, partners, and third-party consultants
  • Assist in moving projects from development through to ready-to-build stage
  • Maintain documentation and ensure key milestones are met
  • Work closely with senior leadership, receiving mentorship and guidance

Requirements

  • 1–2 years’ experience in project development or project management within EV charging infrastructure or related sectors (e.g. microgrid, solar, BESS)
  • Understanding of the project development lifecycle (from early-stage through to ready-to-build)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Proactive, driven, and eager to develop within the energy sector
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
