Our client is a UK-Based energy consulting firm that helps organisations understand and manage value, risk, and revenues in the energy market and flexible assets. As an energy market advisory, they are involved in power markets, gas and LNG, and hydrogen. Their HQ is in central London, and they are an innovative and entrepreneurial team with a passion for commercial and analytical problem solving.

We’re looking for a commercially minded Senior Commercial Analyst to join the team and play a key role in delivering high-impact projects across power markets. This is an opportunity to combine deep analytical expertise with client-facing responsibility, contributing to complex transactions, strategic insights, and market-leading thinking.

As a Senior Commercial Analyst, you’ll take ownership of project delivery while supporting client relationships, business development, and internal knowledge growth. You’ll operate at the intersection of analytics, commercial strategy, and client engagement.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Project Delivery & Ownership
    • Lead and deliver medium-to-large, complex client projects (including multi-party transactions)
    • Manage project planning, budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
    • Apply advanced modelling and analytical tools to solve commercial challenges
    • Ensure robust quality assurance, benchmarking, and accuracy of outputs
    • Develop clear, compelling presentations and confidently handle client Q&A
  • Client Engagement & Business Development
    • Act as a day-to-day contact for clients, building trusted relationships
    • Lead client calls for standard service offerings
    • Support proposal development, scoping, and lead management
    • Communicate insights in a way that clearly connects analysis to commercial outcomes
  • Market Insight & Knowledge Development
    • Build deep expertise in power market dynamics and asset valuation
    • Contribute to internal thought leadership, including market scenarios and value narratives
    • Collaborate with technical teams to enhance analytical tools and capabilities
    • Share knowledge and insights across the wider team
  • Team Contribution & Leadership
