We’re seeking a Senior High Voltage Engineer to lead the technical delivery of transmission-connected solar and battery projects. This role is ideal for someone who loves complex high-voltage design, interconnection negotiations, and hands‑on project coordination. You’ll lead the late‑stage interconnection process from facility studies through GIA negotiation and beyond, manage HV design reviews, and support equipment procurement for substations and switchyards. The role offers strong exposure to transmission owners, RTOs, and ISOs, with projects across the Midwest and beyond.

Requirements:

  • BS in Engineering
  • 3 years of HV design experience
  • Strong understanding of NESC, NEC, IEEE 1547, and IEEE 2800
  • EIT or PE preferred
  • Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, PLSCAD, PSSE, or PSCAD is a plus

Location: Washington, DC, with a hybrid model and selective remote options.
