As demand for grid connection expertise continues to grow across Europe, our client is expanding its German advisory team and is seeking an experienced Lead Grid & Regulation Consultant to help drive the growth of its Grid & Regulatory Advisory business.

This is a unique opportunity to combine technical leadership, client advisory, and business development within one of Europe's most dynamic renewable energy markets.

The Opportunity

  • Manage and review grid connection applications, offers, and technical documentation.
  • Assess grid connection costs, reinforcement requirements, and associated project risks.
  • Support technical and commercial due diligence for project acquisitions, financing, and investment decisions.
  • Undertake network capacity assessments and review regional grid development plans.
  • Advise clients on regulatory risk, grid charging frameworks, and evolving market regulations.
  • Lead proposal development and commercial structuring of consultancy assignments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with developers, utilities, investors, infrastructure funds, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across renewable energy, battery storage, flexibility markets, and grid optimisation.
  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the ongoing growth of the consultancy.
