Your Opportunity:
As GIS Manager, you’ll support development and investor teams with high-quality mapping and spatial analysis across land, interconnection, environmental risk, and project suitability. This is a hands-on role in a small, flexible team – ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, consulting-style environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage spatial data related to land, grid, environmental and development constraints
- Produce high-quality maps and visuals for internal and external use
- Conduct suitability and proximity analysis to support site selection
- Integrate GIS outputs into models, memos, and investor materials
- Use tools including QGIS, ArcGIS Pro, Google Earth, Illustrator, and PVCase
- Source and update datasets from utilities, agencies, and public platforms
- Collaborate with developers and leadership to align mapping with project needs
What You Bring:
- 1-3 years’ GIS experience, ideally in renewable energy or infrastructure
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science or related field
- Proficiency with QGIS or ArcGIS Pro; PVCase, Google Earth, and Illustrator preferred
- Strong analytical and cartographic design skills
- Knowledge of key US markets and energy infrastructure datasets
- Self-starter with a consulting mindset
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
