Climate17 are working with a leading international services provider to the renewable energy sector who manage a portfolio of onshore wind, solar PV, and BESS assets for its investment funds clients across Europe. They are looking for an Asset Manager to ensure proper operation of wind farms and solar PV plants on behalf of their clients. The role may require to carry out similar tasks on BESS assets.
Role
You will take part in the operational control of all aspects of each project, analyse data, rectify issues and drive performance and quality improvements. This role has aspects that are broader than just a technical function including supporting the team with implementation of quality systems and processes which deliver performance improvements.
Responsibilities
- Be the client point of contact & address client requests pertaining to the asset managed
- Prepare client reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual)
- Address client requests whether as part of the existing contract or as part of Additional Services
- Perform Operational Controller duties plus on call duties, including weekends
- Be responsible for daily turbine / solar status monitoring
- Carry out performance analysis
- Be responsible for Turbine/PV site Logbook monitoring
- Complete Initial fault investigation
- Monitor SPV stakeholder, OEM and Service Provider performance and contractual obligations
- Carry out turbine /solar site inspections – GWO training to be provided
- Look for technical improvement solutions and support proposing additional works for existing clients
- Ensure HSE & statutory compliance of the asset
- Create & Review Health and Safety plans
- Support in establishing annual planned spending for asset managed
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent experience in an Engineering field
- Experience in the renewables sector, preferably with technical asset management experience
- Valid driving licence for use within UK
- Customer orientated and good communication (both in written reports and verbally in client meetings)
