Providing sound independent advice on all aspects of an infrastructure project, they enable their clients to take full advantage of the opportunities that the land and propertymarket presents.
We have an exceptional opportunity for a qualified Surveyor at Associate to Associate Partner level to join our client’s growing Infrastructure team in Winchester. You’ll play a key role in delivering strategic and tactical advice on major, high-profile projects across the UK. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Deliver property services across major infrastructure projects, including:
- Temporary access
- Land acquisition
- Compulsory Purchase Orders (CPO)
- Compensation and valuation
- Lead and support high-profile schemes for national bodies and corporate investors
- Negotiate lease events, disturbance claims, land consents, and asset disposals
- Conduct and deliver valuation reports in line with RICS Valuation Standards
- Source, assess and acquire strategic sites for infrastructure developments
- Provide detailed feasibility and development appraisals
- Project-manage acquisitions, including due diligence and capital works
- Drive business development and client relationship opportunities in the region
- Implement efficient systems, policies, and best practice internal processes
- Lead and mentor surveyors, guiding junior team members through their APCs
- Ensure compliance with legal standards and sector-specific regulations
What We’re Looking For:
- RICS qualified and ideally an RICS Registered Valuer
- Significant post-qualification experience in general practice or infrastructure surveying
- Commercial awareness and a strong focus on delivering value to clients
- Knowledge of CPO processes (desirable, with training available)
- Experience in rural surveying is advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Proven leadership and mentoring experience
- A proactive and collaborative mindset – adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Full UK driving licence (essential due to travel requirements)
